The Norwalk (Conn.) Citizen ceased publication on Dec. 27, and The Greenwich (Conn.) Citizen is not far behind.
The Stamford Advocate and The Greenwich Time will now publish much of the content that appeared in the two weeklies, according to Paul Luthringer, a spokesperson for Hearst.
“Both moves strengthen our southern Connecticut daily newspapers and their websites by redirecting coverage and columnists exclusively available in the weeklies into the daily papers of Greenwich and Stamford,” Luthringer said.
