Rudder unveils ratchet
bow roller
Bill Rudder & Associates
introduced a ratchet bow roller, an on-press device that lets operators adjust
registration between gear side and operator side during a press run.
The device can be used on both
singlewide and doublewide presses and is engineered with a larger threaded rod,
larger nut and built-in ratchet handle, eliminating strip out.
BRA said the device offers 30
percent more adjustment range and can be easily installed using existing holes.
Internal segments are
fabricated from DOM cold roll steel and not stamped metal, BRA said, and the
device doubles as an anti-static roller with an exclusive design that grounds
static into side frames.
