The Rochester Institute of
Technology took rapid reporting to its extreme during a one-day event designed
to see what it would take for a newspaper to display news for online and print
distribution as fast as events occurred.
RIT’s Open Publishing Lab
created the software and workflow required to cover the May 3 event: the
inaugural Imagine:RIT Festival, said OPL Co-Director and School of Print Media
Prof. Michael Riordan.
