AdSend/Vio Inc. named Al Edwards president. Edwards previously served as president and director at Advanced Technical Solutions.

 

CC1 Inc. named George Tapley East Coast sales representative. He formerly served as a CC1 sales engineer.

 

GMG Americas named Paulo Monteiro manager, Latin America.

 

Kodak named David Wigfield as managing director, United States and Canada, for the company’s Graphic Communications Group. It also named Kevin M. Joyce as chief marketing officer and Ann Moscicki as senior manager of public relations for the group.

 

WoodWing USA named Shawn Duffy vice president of business development.

 

EidosMedia named Jo Ann Froelich president of its newly opened U.S. company, EidosMedia Inc. The New York-based office joins offices in the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany.

Sun Chemical named Rudi Lenz chief executive officer and president. Lenz, who formerly served as Sun’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, succeeds David Hill, who announced his retirement last year.

 

Tesa Tape Inc. named Clay Goins sales specialist for appliance markets. Tesa also added Julia Yank to its sales force, responsible for sales and support in the Midwest.

 

US Ink Marketing Manager Todd Wheeler was elected to the advisory board of Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication department.

 

POSTPRESS

John C. Hines was appointed president of HK Systems Inc.’s new HK Production Logistics (HKPL) division. Previously the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, Hines will direct the operation of HKPL. He will also continue to serve as a director of HK Systems.

Meantime, James (Jamie) P. Purko was named vice president and CFO of HK Systems.

 

INDUSTRY

Sue Clark-Johnson, president of Gannett Co. Inc.’s newspaper division, will retire in late May, the publisher said. Clark-Johnson spent 40 years with Gannett in a variety of editorial and administrative positions. Gannett said it would appoint a successor later this year.

Meantime, Gannett named Chris Saridakis chief digital officer, a new position, and Jack Williams president of Gannett Digital Ventures.

 

Trend Offset Printing named Wayne Peterson sales vice president of its Texas division.

 

The Dispatch Printing Co. named Michael J. Fiorile chief operating officer. Fiorile previously was president of DPC, which prints The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch.

 

PAGE Cooperative named Gretchen Walters to the new position of marketing and membership development manager. Walters spent the past 12 years in various marketing management positions with Muller Martini Mailroom Systems.

 

 

Ian Weston, corporate development director of News International, was appointed senior vice president of special projects at Dow Jones & Co.

 

California Newspaper Partnership Chief Executive Officer George Riggs resigned. His responsibilities are being assumed by Steve Rossi, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MediaNews Group Inc., which oversees CNP.

 

AWARDS

The Web Offset Association and the Flint Group named Jeff Wendt as the recipient of this year’s H. Howard Flint II Pressroom Manager of the Year Award. Wendt is vice president of printing operations at Arandell Corp., a commercial printer in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
