Presteligence
announces sales to Ark. daily
The (Little Rock) Arkansas
Democrat-Gazette last month began installing NewsXtreme workflow software from
Presteligence Inc. The newspaper already used Presteligence’s Guss output
management app. The Democrat Gazette is also transitioning to a
computer-to-plate workflow.
The Durham (N.C.) Herald Sun
and the Paducah (Ky.) Sun, both customers of Southern Lithoplate’s CTP Alliance,
also recently installed the app.
Meantime, The San Antonio
Express-News went live with Presteligence’s Blackmagic software for
color-calibrated soft proofing. The daily also installed Presteligence’s Xtreme
inking as part of its Goss International Corp. press control upgrade project.
Finally, Presteligence said it
sold its Adinfinitum e-tearsheet and invoicing app to the Bay City (Mich.)
Times, the Ann Arbor (Mich.) News, the (Portland) Oregonian and the Birmingham
(Ala.) News.
Presteligence recently
announced plans to overhaul Adinfinitum to include e-proofs, including ad
submission, e-tearsheets, e-invoices, e-payment, and e-paper. Adinfinitum 4.0 is
scheduled for release at the beginning of 2008.
Finally, Presteligence named
Paul Chandonnet as its new vice president of sales in North America.
