Glunz & Jensen K&F cites lock, bender sales

 

Glunz & Jensen K&F Inc. said papers reducing their web widths contributed to strong lockups sales.

The Billings (Mont.) Gazette purchased 60 CML-DA lockups as part of a reduction from 50 to 48 inches while The Hartford (Conn.) Courant ordered 320 No-Tool press registration lockups as it adopts a 48-inch width. Installation will be complete later this year.

The Gazette also purchased Precision Edge benders, conveyors, stackers and UTMs.

•The Roanoke (Va.) Times — Provision Alliance punch bender, CM-30 conveyor, two-position stacker and plate loader.

•The Morning Call in Allentown, Pa. — Alliance Vision bender, blank plate feeder, CM-36 conveyor with barcode and four-position stacker.

•Capital Newspapers in Madison, Wis. — Precision Edge bender, CD conveyor and 164 No-Tool press registration lockups.

•Eagle Web Press in Salem, Ore. — Provision Alliance bender, configured for 38-inch plates.
