deployments
Agfa Graphics announced a
number of recent sales of its Advantage violet computer-to-plate units to
newspapers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Sales include:
-Liberty Press in Springville,
Utah, purchased an Advantage CLS and Arkitex NewsDrive software.
-The Santa Fe New Mexican
bought two Advantage DLs and Arkitex workflow software.
-South Bend (Ind.) Tribune
purchased two Advantage DLs and Arkitex Director software.
-Omaha (Neb.) World Herald
purchased two Advantage CLS platesetters and Arkitex NewsDrive.
-The Morning Call in
Allentown, Pa., bought two Advantage DLs and Arkitex NewsDrive.
-Daily Press of Newport News,
Va., bought two Advantage DLs and Arkitex NewsDrive.
-Richmond (Va.)
Times-Dispatch, purchased two Advantage CLS units and Arkitex NewsDrive.
-The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla.,
added a third Advantage DL to its facility location, bringing to 23 the number
of Agfa violet platesetters installed at New York Times’ sites.
-Journal Community Publishing
in Waupaca, Wis., bought an Advantage DL with Arkitex NewsDrive.
-Times Leader in Wilkes Barre,
Pa., bought two Advantage DLs and the Arkitex workflow app.
-The Times Herald-Record of
Middletown , N.Y., got two Advantage CLS units and Arkitex Director software.
-Gazette Newspapers of
Waldorf, Md., purchased an Advantage DL and Arkitex NewsDrive .
-Penny Saver Metro Group of
Cheekpowaga, N.Y., bought an Advantage XS and Arkitex NewsDrive.
-Palm Beach (Fla.) Daily News
added a second Advantage CLS and Arkitex NewsDrive following the installation of
an Advantage CLS earlier this year.
• Georgetown (S.C.) Times
bought an Advantage XS and Arkitex NewsDrive.
