CC1 upgrades register control

CC1 Inc. said it added automatic press retiming functionality to its eXamimer register control product line.

The feature, dubbed APR, is engineered to automatically compensate for errors introduced when disengaging and re-engaging print cylinders within unit-to-unit configurations, CC1 said.

APR uses motors and a patent-pending technology to preposition color and cutoff compensators as cylinders turn, in the process offsetting any error that may occur during regearing, CC1 said.
