The Chattanooga (Tenn.) Times Free Press selected Trumba Corp.’s Connect app to run its online event calendar.

Freedom Interactive said it selected Pluck Corp.’s SiteLife social media app across its network of more than 40 news and information Web sites. SiteLife will enable its users to comment on local news, create blogs, share photos, create profiles and participate in community discussions.

The San Diego Union-Tribune also signed on with Pluck Corp. to use its syndicated BlogBurst network on the newspaper’s Web site.
