OBITUARIES
Michael Lemke, senior vice
president of sales and marketing at The Seattle Times Co., passed away in June.
He was 53.
Lemke joined The Times in 1986
and oversaw print and online advertising for both The Times as well as the
Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

The New York Times said
Raymond E. Douglas, who helped oversee the paper’s introduction of color into
its news pages in the late 1990s, died June 29. Mr. Douglas was 58.
