Kodak lands sales

 

Kodak announced the sale of thermal computer-to-plate equipment and associated workflow and imposition software to a number of newspapers in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Among U.S. sales:

-The Yakima (Wash.) Herald-Republic purchased two Kodak Trendsetter News 70 units and associated software.

-Southeast Offset in Miami installed two Trendsetter News 70 units and associated software.

-The Tallahassee (Fla.) Democrat installed two Trendsetter 100 units and associated software.

-Brown Publishing Co. of Ohio, installed two Trendsetter News 70 units and associated software.

 

-The Gazette of Montreal installed two Trendsetter News 150 units and associated software.

-Scripps Texas Newspapers purchased Trendsetter News 70 units and associated software for its San Angelo and Wichita Falls properties.

-Denver Newspaper Agency purchased two Trendsetter News 100 units and associated software. DNA already uses Trendsetter News 200 units to print the (Denver) Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post.

-Lee Enterprises purchased a Trendsetter News 70 and associated software.

-Ogden Newspapers Inc. purchased Trendsetter News 70 units and associated software at its Ohio, New York and Hawaii properties.

-News Tribune Co. of Jefferson City, Mo., purchased a second Trendsetter News and associated software.
