Krause
announced several international sales to newspapers:
-The
Sydney Morning Herald ordered 14 Krause computer-to-plate lines and Fujifilm
plates. Four Krause LS Jet 300 CTP lines will be installed at the newspaper’s
flagship site in Chullora to produce newspapers using Fujifilm plates, the
vendors said.
Meantime,
APN Printing Services Pty. Ltd., which operates newspapers in Australia and New
Zealand, ordered five Krause computer-to-plate lines and Fujifilm plates.
-Krause
marked its 50th CTP sale in Scandinavia to Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan Tryck
of Malmo. The order comprises three LS Jet 170 platesetters and Fujifilm’s LP-NNV
violet polymer plates. Sydsvenskan Tryck prints more than 20 different titles
and consumes about 500,000 printing plates per year.
-At Ipex,
Krause sold 18 CTP lines to Indian newspaper Dainik Jagran. The order includes
18 LS Performance lines including Krause’s BlueFin processor and Krause’s CTP
workflow software.
-Remscheider
General-Anzeiger of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, finalized its purchase of a
Krause CTP system at IfraExpo in Amsterdam in October, choosing an LS
Performance unit together with Krause’s BlueFin processor.
-Finally,
Markische Zeitung in Potsdam, Germany, will modernize its prepress facilities
with the addition of three Krause LS Jet 300 platesetters, three BlueFin
processors and three Nela punch benders.
