Muller Martini will introduce a new inserter, the ProLiner, in 2007, the company said. The inserter uses linear inserting technology and uses a series of four grippers to hold and open products.

The Newseum named Alberto Ibarguen chairman of the museum. Ibarguen, formerly publisher of The Miami Herald, will assume the post Jan. 1. The institution also named four other executives to its board: Gary Ginsberg, executive vice president of corporate affairs for News Corp.; Robert Stanton, a senior fellow at Texas A&M University; George Irish, president of Hearst Newspapers; and David Weston, president of ABC News. The Newseum is scheduled to open a new facility in Washington, D.C., next fall.
