Austrian newspaper printer Media Druck GmbH purchased three Kodak Trendsetter News 200 thermal platesetters, marking Kodak’s 1,000th thermal CTP unit sold worldwide, the vendor said.

In addition, Media Druck GmbH purchased a Kodak Mercury News plate processor and Kodak ThermalNews Gold digital plates.

Based in Tulln, Austria, Media Druck GmbH was established this year and prints Osterreich, a new daily that claims a weekday circulation of 300,000 and a weekend circulation of 600,000.
