introduced a Harlequin RIP workflow plug-in called PrePage-it RIPflo. The firm
said the plug-in offers the digital integrity of true RIP once output many to
all sizes of printing companies. Polkadots offered this plug-in free of charge
to the first 100 registered users. After the initial release, RIPflo will be
available for $1,995.

launched EFI’s new Validation 250 Premium Satin proofing media for the graphic
arts and design markets. Chromaticity will be the sole North American
distributor of the proofing product. EFI’s Validation 250 Premium Satin proofer

released AdsML Framework 2.0 Release 8. The XMP AdTicket Schema allows key
advertising metadata to be embedded into digital artwork files like PDFs. Also
included in AdsML 2.0 Release 8 are backwards-compatible changes to the AdsML
Bookings, AdsML Materials and AdsML TypeLibraries schemas. Additional
maintenance changes, also backwards compatible, were made to several other
specifications.
