Quipp sells units to Calif., Fla. papers

 

Quipp Systems Inc. said it sold a 10:2 Newstec inserter, with NewsCom software, to The Eureka (Calif.) Times-Standard. The machine will be installed within the next several months, Quipp said.

In other sales:

*The Pensacola (Fla.) News Journal purchased a second Packman packaging system. The paper bought its first Packman last September.

*The Commercial Appeal in Memphis, Tenn., purchased six stackers.

*American Color Graphics in Dayton, N.J., purchased two Newstec inserters, two stackers and two Quipp Viper systems.
