K&M sets sales

 

K&M Newspaper Services Inc. said it sold a Titan G60 inserter to The Press in Atlantic City, N.J. The paper also tapped K&M to install two remanufactured 1472 inserters for daily packaging. The G60, configured as a 25:1 machine, will support Sunday packaging. Installation will begin early next year.

In addition to The Press installation, K&M announced a number of other sales, including placing a remanufactured 1372 inserter at the Washington Times, a rebuilt 1472 inserter and track conveyor at the Opelika-Auburn (Ala.) News, and a remanufactured 1372 inserter at the Beaumont (Texas) Enterprise.

*Globe-Gazette, Mason City, Iowa: inserter, press conveyor.

*The News-Star, Monroe, La.: press conveyor.

*Star-Tribune, Casper, Wyo.: relocate SLS-1000 inserter, add press conveyor.

*Courier-Post, Cherry Hill, N.J.: inserter, 48-inch pocket upgrade.

*The Trentonian, Trenton, N.J.: track conveyor.

*The Register Citizen, Torrington, Conn.: track conveyor.

*Reforma, Mexico City: bundle distribution system.

Meantime, K&M said it performed 48-inch web width inserter upgrades at the following papers: Charlottesville (Va.) Daily Progress, the Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif.; the Daily Record in Morristown, N.J.; the Clarion Ledger in Jackson, Miss.; Democrat & Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y.; Pensacola (Fla.) News Journal and the Journal News in White Plains, N.Y.
