MediaSpan notches sales to Ala. publisher

PTS Inc. of Fort Payne, Ala., installed MediaSpan Media Software’s ASP-hosted CirculationPro to handle the circulation operations of eight newspapers in seven states.

The newspapers include the Marion County Newspapers in Tennessee; the Panolian in Mississippi; the Light & Champion and the Pampa News, both in Texas; the Republican Monitor in Missouri; the Ojai Valley News in California; the Jackson Independent in Louisiana; and the Crawfordsville Journal-Review in Indiana.

The McMinnville (Ore.) Register went live with MediaSpan’s NewsEditPro IQue app. The newspaper installed 19 Mac workstations and two Windows workstations, all of which run off the same IQue server. Several other papers recently installed Mediaspan’s editorial apps, including the Daily Camera in Boulder, Colo., and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Newspapers installing Mediaspan’s advertising software include Freedom Newspapers of Clovis, N.M., the Oakdale (Calif.) Leader and the Paris (Tenn.) Post Intelligencer.

Meantime, MediaSpan released its latest CirculationPro app, version 3.4.
