Cox managing with IVR

Cox Newspapers Inc. tapped VoicePort for its CircSpeech interactive voice response app to handle circulation calls at its Florida dailies the Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News. The papers have a combined daily circulation of more than 220,000.

VoicePort’s speech-driven IVR app integrates with circulation databases, eliminating the need to re-key information, VoicePort said.

“VoicePort will help us provide 24/7 service to our readers, allowing them to make payments, schedule a vacation hold and manage their account at their convenience,” said Barry Berg, vice president of circulation at the Palm Beach Post.
