CNI  Corp. said Mike Gold stepped down from his role as chairman of  the software developer. Jon  Dickinson, president of the company that markets AdDesk,  purchased Gold’s share in the company in 2000.

Olive Software Inc. secured $9 million in Series C venture capital, the company said. Investor Pitango Venture led the round, working with Olive’s existing partner Sequoia Capital.
