Baumer Electric said it signed Plumtree Co. to distribute its full line of SCATEC laser copy counters for the printing, publishing and graphics industries in the United States. SCATEC laser copy counters are sensors designed for non-contact counting of newspapers, magazines and other printed media.

Plumtree will offer SCATEC sensors to its more than 300 customers.
