daily, others upgrade to thermal CTP
Kodak
said the following newspapers purchased its thermal CTP systems:
*The
Bismarck (N.D.) Tribune, which also prints several weeklies and advertising
supplements, purchased two Trendsetter News 100s, the NewsManager workflow, the
Prinergy Evo PDF processor and InSite.
*The
Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle purchased two Trendsetter News 100s, NewsManager
workflow, Prinergy Evo PDF processor software and Staccato screening software.
The Chronicle is the third Morris Communications Co. LLC property to deploy a
Kodak CTP system, joining the Savannah (Ga.) Morning News and the Topeka (Kan.)
Capital Journal.
*The
Seymour (Ind.) Tribune purchased two Trendsetter News 70s, ThermalNews plates
and the Prinergy PDF processor.
*Home
News Enterprises’ HNE Printers division in Columbus, Ind., purchased a
Trendsetter News 70, ThermalNews plates, NewsManager workflow, the Prinergy PDF
processor and Staccato screening for production of the Columbus Republic, the
Johnson County Daily Journal, the Brown County Democrat and other publications.
*Gannett
Central New York Newspapers, Johnson City, N.Y., purchased three Trendsetter
News 150s. They will be used to produce the Press & Sun Bulletin in
Binghamton, the Elmira Star Gazette and Ithaca Journal in a new facility going
into production early next year.
*Gannett
Supply Corp., Atlanta Offset, purchased a Trendsetter News 200 and a Nela PLT
plate loader. The Trendsetter News will be used for a variety of local
publications.
*Gannett
Supply Corp., Jackson, Tenn., which prints The Jackson Sun, purchased two
Trendsetter News 70s, NewsManager workflow, the Prinergy PDF processor and
Staccato screening.
*The
Clovis (N.M.) News Journal purchased two Trendsetter News 70s, ThermalNews
plates and the Prinergy PDF processor.
*The
Tribune in San Luis Obispo, Calif., purchased two Trendsetter News 50s,
NewsManager workflow, the Prinergy PDF processor and Staccato screening for
production of the paper and other local publications.
