Dosatron International Inc. introduced a lockable cabinet, which includes two DI150 Dosatron injectors designed to accurately dose the proper solution for press operations.

Quipp Systems Inc. began installing two automatic palletizer systems and a bundle distribution system with accumulation lanes at The Boston Globe’s Morrissey Boulevard plant.

Meantime, Quipp shipped the first two of four automatic cart loader systems to The Honolulu Advertiser.

Detroit Newspapers signed a two-year agreement with Enternet LLC to expand its CSN-NT inserter control systems for its Sterling Heights, Mich., production facility.

Detroit is adding Enternet’s controls to an additional 29-hopper Heidelberg NP-632 inserter, is expanding two NP-630 lines to 29 hoppers and is adding double delivery and two-stacker drop support to all five inserter lines controlled by Enternet. Installation began this month and is expected to be complete in February 2005.

The South Bend (Ind.) Tribune reported it went live with its CSN-NT inserter control system. Prior to purchasing Enternet’s control system, the newspaper had been running a Heidelberg control application.
