DGM sells 850, 430 presses to 3 sites

The Killeen (Texas) Daily Herald purchased a 16-unit press from Dauphin Graphic Machines Inc.

The Herald (daily,  18,263; Sunday, 25,349) also purchased a DGM 1030 folder as well as a DGM 1050 along with the model 850 press, DGM said.

Installation of the press will begin this summer. It will replace an Urbanite press from Goss International Corp.

Meantime, DGM also sold a four-high press to the Wappinger Falls Shoppers in Wappinger Falls, N.Y. The publisher prints two weekly papers, The Southern Duchess News and the Beacon Free Press. It also publishes the biweekly Hudson Valley Business Journal. The press was added to an existing pressline.

And Linco Printing Inc. of Long Island City, N.Y., bought a DGM 430 press, consisting of eight units and a 1035 folder. The press will be installed this month, DGM said.
