Delayed
delivery
Subscribers
to The Durango (Colo.) Herald didn’t receive their Feb. 5 papers until late in
the day after the truck that delivers newspapers from the daily’s production
plant 50 miles away slid off the road and overturned. The truck was carrying
about 11,000 copies of the paper. The copies arrived at The Herald’s Durango
facility at around 3 p.m., some 12 hours late, according to the paper’s Web
site.
