Newspapers were grappling with newsprint costs
and how they should migrate to computer-based production systems when Newspapers
& Technology made its debut at the then-named National Newspaper
Associations annual convention in San Antonio, Texas, 15 years ago.

To our readers, advertisers and our corporate
parent, Conley Magazines, thanks for all of your support.
For a glimpse into what the first issue of Newspapers
& Technology covered, and to see how dramatically technology has
changed, please see our special Nexpo 2003 Special Edition. The issue will be
handed out in Las Vegas during the conference and will also be included in the
July issue of Newspapers & Technology.
