Monaco Systems expanded its line of profiling solutions with the introduction of MonacoProfiler Gold.

MonacoProof provides profiling capabilities for creating RGB and CMYK output profiles, along with profile editing tools for lightness, saturation and output curves.

MonacoProfiler Gold includes all the features in MonacoProof and has expanded profile editing capabilities with fine-tune editing for neutrals and grays, selective color editing and expert black generation control. The MonacoProfiler Platinum edition includes multicolor profiling for up to eight colors and digital camera profiling using GretagMacbeth ColorChecker targets.

New features in all releases include X-Rite DTP41B Series II spectrophotometer support with serial or USB cabling and reduced patch sets for both RGB and CMYK output devices.

MonacoProfiler Gold and Platinum editions also include enhanced profile editing, including a profile white point tag editor for adjusting the whitepoint of output profiles using LAB or Lch tools and the European Color Initiative color test chart support.

MonacoProof version 3.7 costs $1,650. MonacoProfiler Gold version 4.6 is priced at $2,950 and MonacoProfiler Platinum 4.6 at $4,250.

MonacoDCcolor software is used for creating digital camera profiles with the GretagMacbeth ColorChecker targets. It is available as a complementary solution for $400. The MonacoOptix colorimeter monitor profiling application for LCD and CRT displays is available for $299.
