Tensor announces new tower additions, recent press sales

Tensor Group Inc. recently announced several press sales.

Atlantic Press in Oak Lawn, Ill., is replacing its existing Goss Magnum heatset press with new Tensor T400BE units, which the company expects will take its print quality up several levels. The replacements are full bearer units.

“We are extremely pleased with the new Tensor T400BE press and the print quality is beyond our original expectations,” said Bob Skubic, corporate secretary at Atlantic Press.

Grafische Groep Tuerlinckx in Belgium recently purchased a new heatset Tensor T400BE four-high to add onto their Goss Universal 50. This shaftless installation began last month. The customer expects a high-quality heatset web to run with the non-heatset Universal.

The Intermountain Color Group purchased four Tensor 1400 Series four-highs in the past year, all of which are being added onto their existing Goss Community presses. One four-high was installed last year in Boulder, Colo., another was installed in January in Denver, the third four-high is currently being installed in Olive Branch, Miss., and the final four-high will be installed shortly in Albuquerque, N.M.

Barnsley Press, in Yorkshire, England, recently purchased two Tensor 1400 Series shaftless four-highs, which will be added onto their existing Goss SSC press. The installation is scheduled for May.

Editora Argos, located in Mexico, recently purchased one Tensor 1400 Series four-high to be added onto their Goss SSC pressline. Installation is also scheduled for May.

Dixie Web, part of the Add Inc. Group owned by Journal Communications, purchased 18 Tensor 1400 Series units, one H-50 folder and one T-1 folder for delivery to New Orleans. This six-web, complete pressline is scheduled for delivery and installation this month.

Web Graphics, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, recently purchased 12 Tensor 1400 Series units and one Tensor H-50 folder. Installation is currently underway.
