USA Leader squares up with new inserting machines

NEW ORLEANS — USA Leader Inc. introduced the M2 Digital Zoned Insertion System, the company’s latest newspaper inserting machine.

Inserts ranging from 3-by-5 cards to single sheets to full broadsheets can all be handled by the M2 . The maximum size insert it can handle is 12.5 inches by 16 inches and as thick as 64 broadsheet pages. Prepacks can be re-fed as inserts or jackets. Newspapers can also customize the configuration of their system.

The system also features:

• Automatic timing from pocket to pocket

• Toolless adjustments

• Air-clutching system for engaging and disengaging the pocket

• Standard and mirrored product flow

• Custom configurations

The M2 also has touch-screen controls, digital AC drive system, electronic job set-up, automatic diagnostics, plug-and-play electronics, and job status and reporting.
