MaxWorkFlow is a scaleable, open print production management workflow based on Harlequin Inc.’s SOAR raster image processor technology that can be tailored to the unique requirements of any newspaper production environment. Max-WorkFlow is an automated and modular system compatible with most newspaper front-end systems, that supports multiple file formats, including PDF and PostScript, and offers a variety of workflow components, such as preflight, proofing, page pairing, load balancing and output management capabilities to numerous new and legacy output devices.

ECRM has been integrating MaxWorkFlow with its complete line of imaging systems.

“We are well positioned to offer users a powerful, flexible and affordable software and hardware system solution, whether it means adding new imaging devices, improving the efficiency of an existing workflow, or providing a comprehensive front-end to back-end solution,” said Bill Givens, president of ECRM.

CNI will assist ECRM in marketing MaxWorkFlow to the CNI user base, providing installation and on-site training services, and delivering ongoing support. CNI will also integrate and offer its Web-enabled front-end application, MediaDesk, with the MaxWorkFlow system to enable newspapers to link directly with their customers for complete management and delivery of their digital files and ads.

MaxWorkFlow will be demonstrated at Nexpo in the CNI booth 3402. Representatives of both ECRM and CNI will staff the booth to provide additional information on the solutions.
