FizzyLab, a developer of technology that manages information on the Internet, announced it signed an agreement with McClatchy Co. to install FizzyLab’s Relevator. All eleven McClatchy-owned daily newspapers will install this system for a total of 10 million users per month. Openpages Inc., a provider of content management software solutions for e-business, announced a strategic partnership with ScreamingMedia, an aggregator and distributor of Web content, to jointly market an integrated content management solution that allows streaming content to Web sites. Through the partnership, Openpages will offer syndication technology to customers by integrating ScreamingMedia’s SiteWare technology with Openpages’ ContentWare.

ContentWare is designed to create, manage, and deploy content to the Web and other channels simultaneously using one content management database solution. ScreamingMedia aggregates, filters and integrates content from content-providers directly into their network of over 800 Web sites and wireless subscribers.

The partnership between Openpages and ScreamingMedia is a result of Openpages’ Partner Program that selects companies whose products and services complement, enrich and extend the ContentWare suite of products.

Openpages also announced an agreement with Media General’s Winston-Salem (N.C.) Journal to use ContentWare to assist in the Journal’s transformation of it online new portal.
