SportsHuddle.com, a portal that partners with newspapers to publish local high school statistics in print and on the Web, is offering to waive the upfront and first-year renewal fees if a contract is signed by March 31.
The early signing deal is being extended to assure the completion of installation and personnel training by the beginning of the fall sports season in August.
The SportsHuddle.com package includes proprietary database software that collects and maintains all local high school statistics for all sports by single entries into agate templates.
The information is then automatically coded for the Web and formatted to the required pagination system specifications, including Atex, System Integrators Inc., or Quark.
Comprehensive training for all sports and technical department employees and around the clock customer service are included.
A newspaper's online, sports and technical departments must participate in discussions and implementation.
