Newspapers and Technology March 2000

America East 2000 presses the
newspaper industry forward

With the promise of "continuing the tradition -- pressing toward the new century," this year's AmericaEast returns to the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, Pa., April 3-6.

In excess of 150 vendors will exhibit the products and services that will propel the newspaper industry into the 21st century.

The conference features more than 20 educational sessions covering all aspects of the industry, from production to advertising to circulation, as well as user groups and special seminars that provide opportunities for industry professionals to share ideas and experiences.

The New Media World symposium takes place April 3. This event will offer sessions specifically oriented toward the new media professional with topics including Web site design, online advertising and management.

Also, conference attendees can participate in the fourth annual Print Quality Contest. The winners will be announced April 5.

Look for comprehensive coverage of the products, events and news from AmericaEast 2000 in the May issue of Newspapers & Technology.
